I'm Casea Peterson, a copywriter and content strategist with ten years in advertising and UX/UI design, rooted in degrees and graduate study in English and Psychology. Nine of those years came before AI arrived in the content space. I learned the ground the old way -- by craft, by research, and by watching what worked and what didn't.
As a senior copywriter, I've led international campaigns from agency, in-house, and independent desks. I began in the outdoor industry, where the adventurous life I lived gave me standing to write about it honestly. From there I moved into other industries, carrying the same rigor with me and adding what behavioral science had to teach.
But words alone were never enough. Copy and design are not two disciplines; they are two faces of the same persuasion. That took me into UX/UI, and back to school, to learn how a layout moves a consumers decision as surely as a sentence does.
Lately I've added another season to the work: collaborating with large companies to work hands-on with large language models. I'm interested in using the tool deliberately-- in what it can add to good work, and in what it cannot replace.
